Stations

Station 22 is a three bay single story station, built in 1976.  The station includes a full kitchen for use during our annual Block Party and fundraisers.  It houses an engine, truck, and tanker and has an office and bunkroom.  In addition, we also provide space for use by Upper Dauphin County Emergency Services - Medic 6.  Medic 6 staffs the station 24 hours per day/seven days a week, providing emergency medical services.  Numerous community events are held at the station throughout the year.

Prior to the completion of the new station, Liberty Hose Company No. 2 was housed across the street in the Lykens Municipal Building.  Lykens Borough sold the building to Liberty Hose Company on January 2, 2001.  It is now known as Station 22-1.  Station 22-1 was built in 1937.  It is a 2 bay, 2 story station.  This station still houses our 1941 International Pumper.
The company moved into a building on this location on December 12, 1886.  See below for pictures of both the 'old' and the 'new' buildings, now known as station 22-1.
