2005 Block Party
June 21st thru June 25th

This year's Block Party entertainment includes, Liberty Hose Company No. 2 Band, Jimmy and the Parrots, Smokin' Joe and the Wildhorse Band, The New Individuals, and The Shamalama Band. See the entertainment schedule below for more information and website links. Our games will include Cake Wheel, Longaberger Basket Stand, Rip Off Tickets, Hi/Low Darts, Ducks, and Dime Pitch. Our food stands include our famous french fries. See the complete food list below. Rides will be provided by Otto's Amusements.

The Block Party held by the fire company is a Lykens tradition and is our main fundraising event of the year. Please visit us each night and support our operations by enjoying our food, games, and entertainment.

Parade Night - Tuesday

Starting at 7PM a parade will travel the streets of Lykens, ending at the Block Party where we hope you will join us.

Family Night - Thursday

Buy an armband and ride the rides between 7 and 10 PM for one low price.

Hawaiian Shirt Night - Friday

We seem to have developed a tradition here. Join us by wearing your Hawaiian shirt to the Block Party on Friday night.

BINGO - Tuesday thru Saturday

BINGO can be played in the carriage house each night of the Block Party.
