Accident - Truck Hit Pole

On Monday, May 28, 1934, a Ford truck driven by Mark Sherk, of Fredericksburg, missed a curve on the highway between Berrysburg and Millersburg, and struck a telephone pole. Sherk was thrown from the truck, sustaining injuries to his head and body. The injured man was taken to the office of Dr. Bogar for first aid, who ordered his removal to the hospital, where it was found that his skull, three ribs, and a shoulder had been fractured. |
