Berry Mountain Fire
Dauphin County, PA

April 23, 1932

A fire on Berry Mountain was started by a coal train on the Lykens Valley Railroad. It burned 1,000 acres. The fire was reported on April 23, 1932, at 2:30 p.m. and was put out on Friday April 24th. Forest fire teams from Elizabethville, Millersburg, Westbrook, Fisherville, and Enterline worked to extinguish the fire.
