Companies 22 and 23 were dispatched to the Miller home on Zealot Street for a reported structure fire. Both companies responded, and after arrival, crews went inside. They found the property owner in the living room, with a chainsaw in his hands, sawing through his floor in an attempt to get to the seat of the smoldering fire. The crews were successful in extinguishing the fire, which was minor in nature. Fire loss was difficult to determine.
