Liberty Hose Company was called to the home of Guerney Knorr, on North Street, at 1 o'clock on Wednesday, March 29, 1944, to extinguish the flames of a burning smoke house. Some of the meat was saved.

Medical Assist, 629 South Street (Box 22-11)

Company 22 was dispatched on a medical assist at 629 South Street. Truck 22 responded and was advised of a patient with breathing problems. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS with patient care and transfer to a transport unit.

Chimney Fire, 452 South Second Street (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
Engine-22 and Truck-22 were dispatched to 452 South Second Street for a reported chimney fire. The caller advised County of a large amount of black smoke coming from the chimney of a garage to the rear of the address. Chief-22 arrived on scene, determined that someone was burning garbage, and put the box in service.

Smoke in a Structure, 305 West Market Street (Box 24-1)

Truck 22, along with Engine 23 and Engine and Rescue 66, were dispatched to assist Company 24 at 305 West Market Street in Williamstown for a report of smoke in the basement. Truck 22 responded with a crew of seven, and Engine 23 responded with a crew of seven. After Tanker 24's arrival on the scene moments later, the box was held to Company 24 and the other responding units were placed in service.

Automatic Fire Alarm, 300 Chestnut Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and 23 dispatched class one to 300 Chestnut Street in Lykens at the Alfa Laval Thermal Plant for an automatic fire alarm coming from the break room. Chief 22 responded to the scene, and Engine 22 went enroute with 4. On the arrival of Chief 22, he was advised that it was burnt food in the microwave, and he placed the box in service before arrival of any apparatus.

Company 22 requested to standby in quarters for Company 24. Engine and Truck 22 stood by with 11 in station until released by command.
2017
Animal Extrication, 419 Chestnut Street (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
Truck 22 dispatched class three to 419 Chestnut Street in Lykens for an animal rescue, cat in a chimney. Truck 22 responded with 7 and on arrival had a one story bungalow single family dwelling with a fireplace chimney on side D. Crew laddered the building to get to the top of the chimney and also gained access to the interior. The insert to the fireplace was removed and the animal was encouraged to leave the chimney. After it left the residence the Truck went available.
2023
AFA, 220 North Church Street (Box 21-1)

Company 21, Engine 26 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 220 North Church Street in Elizabethville at the Upper Dauphin Area High School for an automatic fire alarm. Truck 22 responded with 4 and on arrival was assigned side A and to go to the roof to check HVAC units. Crew split with two going to the roof and two laddering the building. The roof crew was eventually joined by the facility maintenance person. Numerous roof units were showing trouble mode. After isolating the problem Command 21 turned the building back over to Maintenance and cleared the box.
