Accident with injuries, 463 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Engine-22 was dispatched to 463 Main Street for an accident with injuries. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six and Chief-22 responded POV. The engine arrived on scene and found that a single car with one occupant had struck a parked car. The crew assisted EMS with removal of patient from vehicle to an ambulance.

Structure Fire, 239 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Local alarm assignment dispatched on the 22-1 box for a report of a bathroom fire at 239 Main Street in Lykens, sending companies 22, 23, 21, and 24 along with Schuylkill Air Light 66-60 and Medic 6. Engine 22 responded with 3, Truck 22 with 3, and Chiefs 22 and 22-1 POV to the scene. On arrival of Chief 22-1, he had the box reduced to Company 22 non emergency, reporting that the fire was out. On arrival of the Engine and Truck on side A, crews went interior with tools and the TIC to check for hot spots and ventilated the bathroom with a fan. After confirming that there was no extension and the smoke was cleared from the structure, Chief 22 placed the box in service.

Medical Assist, 715 South Second Street (Box 22-1)

At the request of Medic 6 Company 22 dispatched class three to 715 South Second Street in Lykens to assist with lifting. Chief 22 responded POV and Truck 22 went enroute with 7. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS with removing a patient from a second floor hallway to their transport unit and then went available.

Standby, Station 22 (Box 22-1)

At the request of the communications center, Company 22 members were requested to man station 22 as a result of a truck accident that occurred in Gratz that a pole was hit and resulted in the loss of phone internet and tv service to a large portion of northeastern Dauphin County. Throughout the duration of the outage and until service was restored, a total of 14 members stood by in station.
