A first alarm assignment was dispatched for a reported kitchen fire on the second floor of 711 Main Street in the Borough. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, and upon arrival found the occupants of the apartment outside reporting a fire on their stove which was now out. The engine crew checked for any remaining hot spots, Engine and Squad 23 were placed in service, the apartment was vented of smoke, and the stove was disconnected from its power source. The company then went available.
Truck 22 was dispatched to Williamstown for smoke in a structure, along with Companies 24, 23, 66, and Schuylkill 66. Truck 22 responded and received information from County by radio that stated there was a chemical smell in the building, and that all occupants had evacuated the structure. Tanker 22 was later dispatched in place of Tanker 24 when they did not respond after six minutes. Tanker 22 was later canceled when Tanker 24 responded. Chief 24 took command on channel 3. Command then placed the Truck available.
Tanker-22 was dispatched to provide a water supply at the scene of a Brush Fire in Wayne Township. The box was placed in service at the time the tanker was arriving on the scene.
