Chief 22 was paged by the Dauphin County Comm. Center and informed that the Lykens Police Department was reporting a possible fuel spill in the 500-Block of Main Street. Upon his arrival on scene, the Chief requested Engine 22 to respond class-3 to 547 Main Street for spill control. Engine 22 responded and used high-dry to control a gasoline spill resulting from a vehicle with a leaking gas tank.
At the request of EMS, Company 22 was dispatched class one to 633 South Street for a medical assist. Truck 22 responded with a crew of seven, and assisted the EMS crew with lifting and transferring the patient to their transport unit. After the patient was placed on the ambulance, Truck 22 went available.

Traffic control, Market and Arch Streets (Box 22-1)
Company 22 dispatched class three to assist Lykens PD at the intersection of Market and Arch Streets in Lykens for a traffic control at the scene of a non injury accident. Utility 22 responded with 2 and 14 members walked over from the station 50 feet away. The Company assisted PD until the wrecker removed the vehicle and command placed the box in service.
Company 27 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 671 Garden Spot Road in Lykens Township on the 27-3 box for a chimney fire. Truck 22 responded with 6 and was canceled by command while enroute.
Truck 22 dispatched class one to 117 West Church Street in Porter Township for an automatic fire alarm. Truck 22 responded with 3 and was canceled while enroute.
A fire destroyed the bleachers at Fenway Park on May 8, 1926. John Quinn, the owner at the time, simply carted the charred remains out of the park; because of a lack of funds, he didn't bother to rebuild the bleachers.
