Company 22 dispatched class three to 616 Park View Lane on the 22-2 box in Lykens Boro to assist Medic 6-7 with lifting. Chief 22 responded POV and Truck 22 went enroute with 4. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS in moving a patient back into their chair and then went available.
Company 22 alerted for a basement pump detail at 403 South Second Street in Lykens. Utility 22 responded with 2 and on arrival pumped out the basement and then went available.
Company 22 alerted to return to 403 South Second Street in Lykens for a flooded basement. Utility 22 responded with 3 and Chief 22 POV. Lykens PD also responded. On arrival, the crew set up a portable pump and pumped out the basement and then went available.
At the request of Chief 24A on scene Company 22 dispatched class three to 164 North Street in Lykens for a lift assist. Chief 22-2 responded POV and Engine 22 went enroute with 5. On arrival the crew assisted EMS 24 with transferring their patient from the residence to their transport unit and then went available.
Company 22 dispatched class one to 461 North street in Lykens for a residential smoke alarm sounding. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and Engine 22 went enroute with 3. On Chief 22's arrival at a 22 foot by 44 foot wood frame two story single family dwelling the occupants were outside in a vehicle and an audible alarm was sounding. Investigation found a faulty smoke detector in the living room and the box was placed available.
Company 22 dispatched to assist Company 27 on a lift assist at 231 Dauphin street in Gratz Boro. Medic 6 requested lifting help for a patient. Utility 22 responded with 4 and brought the stryker tarp along. On arrival the crew assisted 27 and 6 with lifting a patient from the floor to their litter and into the transport unit using the tarp. They were then placed available.
Slight damage was suffered in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Deitrich in Wiconisco on Friday evening, July 27, 1934, at 8:30, when their young son ignited a mattress with a match. The Wiconisco firemen promptly answered a call for help and extinguished the blaze.
