Company 22, Engine and Rescue 23, Engine 24, Engine 21-1, and Air Lite 66-60 dispatched to 105 Main Street at Kevin's Place Restaurant for a report of smoke in a structure. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and assumed command on arrival. Engine 22 responded with 3 and Truck 22 with 3. Chief 22 investigated and found a faulty compressor as the cause of the smoke and held the box to companies 22 and 23.
Truck 22 dispatched class one to Hubley Township, Schuylkill County on a Sacramento Fire Company box to assist them with a reported hang glider pilot stuck in a tree, 60 feet in the air. Sacramento, Hegins, Klingerstown, and Gratz fire companies also on the call. Truck 22 responded with 6, and on arrival, assisted rescuers on scene in bringing the person down by using a haul system. After returning the person safely to the ground and extricating her from the rather remote location, the Truck went available.

Automatic Fire Alarm, 609 Second Street (Box S.C.)
Truck 22 dispatched to Schuylkill County, Tower City Boro, 609 Second Street for an automatic fire alarm. Truck 22 responded with 7, and was canceled enroute just outside of Lykens.

Automatic Fire Alarm, 44 South Market Street (Box 21-1)
Engine 21 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to the Swab Wagon Company at 44 South Market Street in Elizabethville for an automatic fire alarm. The box was placed in service before any response.
A fire of unknown origin destroyed the barn and chicken house on the farm of Peter Matter, about a mile northwest of Loyalton, on the night of Friday, September, 10, 1043. The loss was estimated at $8,000.
