| | A 12 PM fire alarm sounded. The company responded at once to the scene and found it to be at Jonas Garman's stable. Connections were made at the plug in front of the liquor store and the fire was extinguished. Damage was estimated at $5. |

| | County initially dispatched company 23 for a report of wires down on 209 near a supermarket. They then canceled company 23 and dispatched company 24 for wires reportedly down near the old Acme store on Route 209 near the County line. The initial call came from Schuylkill County, and an exact location was not confirmed. Company 22 was then notified by phone that a banner was down in front of Don's Food Rite. Truck 22 responded to 670 Main Street in front of Don's, and confirmed that the report was for a banner hanging down on the road. The crew removed the banner and went available. |

| | Engine and Tanker 22 were dispatched to assist Companies 23 and 24 on a fire in a coal collection unit at Kimmel's bulk coal packaging plant on Machamer Avenue in Wiconisco Township. Engine-22 arrived and set up to draft from the bridge over Wiconisco Creek on Machamer Avenue. The Engine supplied mulitple loads to the tankers working the scene. Plant personnel, using skip loaders, assisted in spreading burning product out to allow firefighters to extinguish remaining pockets of fire. |

Elevator Rescue, 15 South Second Street (Box 22-1) |

| | Company 22 and Engine 23 were dispatched to the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street for an elevator rescue. Initial information stated that a 93 year old person was stuck on the fourth floor. Truck 22 responded with a crew of six, and Engine 23 responded with a crew of five. Truck 22 took side A and the crew went inside. Engine 23 arrived on side D and staged. The truck crew used hand tools and an elevator key to gain access to the trapped person. She was turned over to the EMS crew unhurt. Chief 22 contacted the building maintenance staff who placed the elevator out of service. The crews then went available. |

Accident with injuries, 818 Main Street (Box 22-1) |

| | While Engine and Truck 22 were training with company 24 at their station, a call came in for a reported accident with injuries in front of 818 Main Street in Lykens. Engine 22 went responding with 6 and Truck 22 with 7. County advised that a car struck a parked truck and there was possible entrapment. Chief 22-1 on board Engine 22 requested the second rescue and Rescue 21 was dispatched to assist. Utility 22 responded from station 22 as well as Lieutenant 22. On arrival, there was one vehicle into a pickup truck, with entrapment. Rescue 23 arrived on scene and began extrication. Crews assisted EMS from Medic 6 and extrication was marked at 20:14. Rescue 21 was re-directed to Station 23 to handle a possible LZ for an incoming chopper, which was later canceled and EMS transported to the hospital by ground. Crews assisted on scene until released by Command. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class one to 245 South Second Street in Lykens for a cardiac arrest AED response medical assist. Chiefs 22 and 22-1 responded POV to the scene. Truck 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 2. On arrival, Lykens PD on scene. Crews assisted with patient care until the arrival of 24 EMS. Patient was transferred to their unit and command placed the company available. |

| | Truck 22 and Tanker 24 dispatched to Schuylkill County on the Williams Valley Elementary School box in Porter Township for an automatic fire alarm. Schuylkill stations 66, 22-1, 22-3, 22-5 also on the box. Truck 22 responded with 4 and on arrival staged at the entrance to the road leading back to the school. Command confirmed that a child pulled the alarm and released the Truck which then went available. |
