Company personnel were dispatched to assist Companies 23 and 24, PSP, and a Sheriff's K-9 unit on a search detail in Wiconisco Township. Six personnel responded POV to the area and were under the command of Chief-23. The person was found, signal-12, and the company was placed available.

Structure Fire, 229 North Tunnel Street (Box 24-1)
Truck 22 dispatched with companies 24, 23, and 66 to 229 North Tunnel Street in the Boro of Williamstown for a reported structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 7 and Chief 22 POV. Chief 24 placed the Truck in service while enroute.
Company 21, Engine 23 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 185 Manors drive in Washington Township for an automatic fire alarm at DJ Margerum's office. The box was placed available before response, alarm set off due to dust from construction.
A single vehicle accident occurred on Thursday, September 30, 1976. William Miller, age 17, and a passenger, Julia Ann Roberger, age 18, both from Millersburg, were traveling south on Route 147 south of Halifax, when Miller failed to negotiate a curve. His car crashed into an embankment, overturned, and was demolished. Miller and Romberger were injured, and were taken to Polyclinic Hospital by the Halifax Ambulance.
