Engine-22 was dispatched per request of EMS to assist in a cardiac arrest call at the Rattling Creek Apartments. Engine-22 responded with six personnel and arrived on scene to find a signal-12. The crew was released by EMS.

Company-22 was dispatched to assist the County Coroner with the signal-12 from the call earlier this morning. Engine-22 responded with six personnel and assisted the Coroner with removal of the deceased. The company was then placed available by the Coroner.
2013
Fire reported out, 512 Market Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 512 Market Street in Lykens for a report of a fire now out. Initially, EMS was dispatched to that address for a report of a person with difficulty breathing, and it was later learned that it was smoke inhalation and the company was added. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene, with Engine 22 with 4 and Truck 22 with 4. On arrival, PD and EMS was all ready on scene, and command requested that the second floor apartment be ventilated. Crews pulled fans and set up for negative pressure ventilation. After the apartment was vented and EMS finished with the occupant, command placed the box in service.
2014
Accident with injuries, Market and South Streets (Box 22-1)

Company 22, Rescue 23, and Medic 6 dispatched class 1 to the intersection of South Street and Market Street in Lykens for a multiple vehicle accident with injuries. Chief 22 responded POV, Engine 22 with 4, Utility 22 with 5, and Rescue 23 along with two units from Medic 6, PSP, and Lykens Boro PD. On arrival, Chief 22 established command, noted that all occupants were out of their vehicles, and requested Rescue 23 to reduce their response to class three. On arrival of Engine and Utility 22, crew began patient care until the arrival of EMS, while also securing traffic at the scene and checking the vehicles. One vehicle ended up in the front yard of a house on the 700 block of Market Street, one vehicle spun around onto South Street and struck a porch and came to rest in front of a telephone pole, and another vehicle came to rest in the 600 block of Market Street. The vehicle on South Street was cribbed by Rescue 23. Two patients in the vehicle on South Street were transported and the rest refused treatment. Rescue 23 was released, and Company 22 remained on scene until the towing company removed all three vehicles, and then went available.

AFA, 15 South 2nd St (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street in Lykens. Chief 22-1 responded POV and Engine 22 went enroute with 5. On arrival the Engine staged on side D while Chief 22-1 went interior to check with the building manager. They were having the system worked on and there was a false activation of the alarm system. Command placed the box available.
2024
Medical Assist, 2561 Armstrong Valley Road (Box 216-1)

At the request of Captain 216 Utility 22 dispatched class one with the stryker tarp to 2561 Armstrong Valley Road in Jackson Township for a medical assist. Utility 22 went enroute with 2 and the tarp. Four additional members remained in station with the Truck. On arrival, the crew assisted Companies 216, 21, EMS 6 and EMS 24 with the extrication and removal of a patient from their residence to EMS from 24 for transport to the hospital. After completing the task Command 216 placed all units available.
