Engine-22 and Squad-23 were dispatched to the rear of the old Lykens Dairy for a person trapped under a vehicle. The Engine responded with a crew of six and found the person had self-extricated himself. Company-23 was placed in service and the patient was transported by EMS.
Truck 22 dispatched to Tower City in Schuylkill County on the first alarm for a reported structure fire at 1124 East Grand Avenue. Truck 22 responded with 6 and was canceled while enroute.
Company 21 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 18 West Broad Street in Elizabethville on the 21-1 box for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 21 responded and held all units in quarters. Truck 22 stood by in quarters with 6 until released by Command 21.
Company 21 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 137 East Broad Street in Elizabethville Boro at Lisi Oil Company for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 21 held the box to Engine 21 as Truck 22 was about to respond with 5.
Companies 24, 23, 22, and Schuylkill 22-5 dispatched class one along with 24 EMS to 521 West 5th Street in Williams Township for smoke in a structure. Truck 22 responded with 6, Engine 22 with 6, Utility 22 with 2, and 3 members POV. On arrival of a 2 story modern construction single family dwelling the Truck was advised to pull up the dirt driveway behind Tanker 24 and assist with interior operations. Engine 22 staged at a hydrant on 5th street and sent manpower forward. Utility 22 staged behind the Engine and also sent their manpower forward. Property was without electricity and when the wood burner was started smoke built up in the home. Truck crew assisted with ventilation of the structure while the Engine crew assisted by metering the first floor. After completing their tasks command placed the company available.
