1985
Chimney Fire, 928 Main St (Box 22-4)

Engine 22 was dispatched to a chimney fire at 928 Main Street. There was a heavy driving rain at the time. Engine 22 responded, and on arrival found a one story ranch home with flames coming out of the chimney. A crew went interior and found a wood burner that had fire pushing up the chimney pipe to the wall. The burner was shut down, the pipe was removed, and the the burner was carried outside. The chimney was cleaned, the wood burner was emptied and returned to the house, and the pipes were re-attached. Crews cleaned up and then went available.

Silo Fire, Rt 209/Guys Rd (Box 20-37)

Truck 22 was dispatched to standby in quarters for Company 20 while they were on a commercial structure fire in Upper Paxton Township. But, Truck 22 was placed in service, before response, by Command 20.
2007
Tree down, Shippen Dam Road (Box 20-2)
Detail >>
Truck 22 was dispatched to respond in place of Truck 20 on a call for a large tree and wires down on Shippen Dam Road outside Millersburg, in Upper Paxton Township. Chief 20 canceled Truck 22 when Attack 20 responded.

Structure Fire, 1126 East Grand Avenue (Box S.C.)

Truck 22 dispatched to 1126 East Grand Avenue in Tower City, Schuylkill County, to assist Porter Township and Tower City fire companies on a reported structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 7, and was canceled while enroute.
2011
Medical Assist, 801 Market Street (Box 22-2)
Detail >>
At the request of Medic 96A, Company 22 dispatched class three to 801 Market Street to assist with the unloading of an extremely obese patient back into his residence. Truck 22 responded class three with 5, and on arrival, assisted EMS with moving the patient from their unit to his residence, and then went available.
2011
Smoke in a Structure, 206 North Street (Box 22-1)

Local alarm dispatched on the 22-1 box for a report of smoke in a structure at 206 North Street in Lykens, which alerted Engine and Truck 22, Engine and Rescue 23, Engine 24, Rescue 21, and Tower City Air Light 66-60. Engine 22 responded class one with 5, and Truck 22 with 4. Engines 23, 24, and Rescue 21 also responded along with Utility 22. On arrival, the first in Engine crew found that the owner had just started up a coal burner, and filled the house with smoke. Command held the box to company 22, and after repacking hose, company 22 went available.
2015
Structure fire, 347 Weaver Road (Box 26-4)

While Utility 22 was at Peifer Fire Protection in Berrysburg dropping off air cylinders to be tested, Box 26-4 was dispatched for 347 Weaver Road in Mifflin Township for a commercial structure fire. Utility 22 added on to the box with 2 and arrived on scene in two minutes. Plant personnel advised of a diesel generator on fire and that the fire brigade on scene had the fire out. After the arrival of engines 26 and 21, and tankers 26 and 21, Chief 26 placed the box in service.
2016
AFA, 300 Chestnut Street (Box 22-1)

Engine 22, Engine 23, and Truck 20 for the out of service Truck 22 dispatched class one to 300 Chestnut Street in Lykens at the Alfa Laval Thermal Plant for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 responded POV and on arrival, assumed command and had nothing showing from sides A and D. Engine 22 responded with 5, Engine 23 with 3, and Truck 20 with 3. Engines 22 and 23 arrived at the same time on side A and staged. Command placed Truck 20 in service. The Engine 22 crew retrieved The Knox key, entered the facility and did a search and found alarm bells sounding in the machine shop but nothing evident. An employee of the facility arrived on scene and assisted with entry and attempted to contact plant personnel. A call was placed to the alarm company and the plant supervisor was contacted and went enroute to the facility. Engine 23 was placed available by command. On the arrival of the plant manager, the facility was turned over to him and the box placed available by command.
