A pedestrian was struck while walking on West Market Street in Williams Township on March 5, 2007. The accident occurred near the intersection of West Market Street and Lenker Drive when an eastbound pickup truck struck the pedestrian. The victim was flown to Hershey Medical Center. The Williamstown fire company, Williamstown ambulance, and Medic 6 assisted at the scene.
At 4:55 a.m. on March 5, 1856, fire destroyed the royal opera house at Covent Garden in half an hour. There was no loss of life. It was the second Covent Garden Opera House, built after the first one was destroyed by fire in 1808.
