The fourth fire of 1895 was located in "North Lykens". It occurred on November 21st at 10:30. The fire was outside of the borough.
2009
Kitchen Fire, 511 Pine Drive (Box S.C.)
Detail >>
Company 27 and Truck 22 from Dauphin County dispatched to Schuylkill County, the village of Sacramento, to assist companies 14, 13, and 65 at 511 Pine Drive for a reported kitchen fire. Truck 22 responded with 4, and was canceled enroute.

Smoke in a Structure, 522 West Market Street (Box 24-1)

Company 24, 23, Schuylkill 647 and Truck 22 dispatched to 522 West Market Street in Williamstown for a report of smoke in a structure. Caller advised she had smoke coming up through the floor of her bathroom. Truck 22 responded with 6, and on arrival, was advised by command that the local sewer authority was smoke testing lines. Investigation of the property found no fire, and command 24 placed the box in service.

Smoke in a Structure, 411 Julian Street (Box 24-1)

Company 24, 23, Schuylkill 647 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 411 Julian Street in Williamstown for a report of smoke in a structure. The caller advised she had smoke in her bathroom. Truck 22 responded with 7, and was canceled by Command 24 as they were leaving the station. They advised that this was the sewer authority testing lines.

Accident with entrapment, 1492 Pottsville Street (Box 23-3)

Engine 22 dispatched class one for Engine 23 on the 23-3 box at 1492 Pottsville Street in Wiconisco Township for an accident with rollover and entrapment. Engine 22 canceled when Engine 23 went responding.
2023
Person entrapped and on fire, 260 Glen Road (Box 22-2)

Engine 22, Rescues 23 and 21 and EMS from 24 dispatched class one to the Lykens Glen Park on Glen Road for a person on fire and trapped under a vehicle. Chief 22-1 responded POV to the scene and Engine 22 went enroute with 5. Rescue 23 went enroute with 6 and Rescue 21 with 7. On arrival the crew confirmed one individual was trapped under a car but was no longer on fire. Rescue 23 arrived and used the jaws to raise the vehicle so that the person could be extricated and placed into 24-2. Rescue 21 was placed in service. Crew assisted EMS and PSP until released by command.

Bethel A.M.E. Church Fire - Harrisburg, PA

The Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church at Sixth and Herr streets, was destroyed by arson early on the morning of November 21, 1995. A burglar, apparently angry because he couldn't open an empty safe, used cans of Sterno to start a blaze in the hallway that soon consumed the 115-year-old church and caused an estimated $1.5 million damage.
