| | Fire alarm sounded at 11:15 AM on Saturday, January 13, 1906 and the company responded to the scene of fire at R. Coble's & Son's store on Main Street. Connections were made to the plug at the corner of Main and Market Streets, but water was not needed. The fire had been caught in time and extinguished with a small garden hose. |

Utility 22 responded class three with 5, and on arrival, assisted members of Rescue 27 and Medic 6 with lifting an extremely large patient from his apartment into their transport unit, and then went available. |

| | Company 22 alerted class three to 575 South Street directly behind the fire station for a transformer fire. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and Engine 22 responded with 3. Seven additional members went to the scene POV. Chief 22 on arrival found a pole fire now out and called in the pole number to the communications center. The box was then placed in service. Cause was a squirrel who did not survive the event. |

Crew went interior and using an elevator key freed the occupant and then went available. |
