| | Truck-22 was dispatched to Schuylkill County, Tower City Borough, to the Corl-Dimon Funeral Home for smoke in the structure. The truck responded with a crew of five and Chief-22 responded POV. Truck-22 arrived on the scene and took side-1. The crew went interior to assist in locating the source of smoke. Tower City Chief 66-01, Baker, had command, with Tower City, Muir, and Orwin on scene along with Tower City EMS. It was discovered that a circulator pump on the furnace in the basement had burned up, causing the problem. Command turned the problem over to a furnace repair crew and released the units on the scene. |

| | Company-22 was dispatched to the rear of 512 Market Street in Lykens per request of the Police Department to assist them and Medic-6 with a cardiac arrest call. Engine-22 responded with a crew of four, and seven additional members responded to the scene, including Chief-22 and Chief 22-1. The crew assisted EMS with CPR and patient care until signal-12 was called. Then were released by EMS. |

| | Truck 22 was dispatched to assist Company 24 along with companies 23 and 66, to 436 East Market Street in Williamstown for a reported structure fire. A caller had reported smoke coming from the basement. Truck 22 responded with a crew of seven, and on arrival, was advised by command to stage behind Tanker 24 on side-A and provide ladders to the roof so that a crew could examine the chimney of the residence. Command advised of a probable furnace malfunction, a result of a bad chimney. A crew also set up the PPV fan on side-A, but it was not needed. After clearing the chimney, which was found to be cracked, command released the truck, which returned to quarters. There was a light rain falling, with temperatures in the low to mid 30's, and as the Truck backed into Station 22, freezing rain began. |

| | Engine and Rescue 23 and Truck 22 dispatched to 606 Mountain Street in Wiconisco Township for a reported chimney fire. Truck 22 responded with 7 and arrived on scene side A/D behind Engine 23. Crew sent interior and pulled the wood burner's pipe connecting it to the chimney, which was partially blocked. Crew assisted 23 crews with cleaning out the chimney and pipes, and were then placed available by command. |

| | Companies 22 and 23 dispatched class three to assist Hershey EMS at 801 Market Street in Lykens for a lift assist for an extremely obese patient. Truck 22 responded with 7, Utility 22 with 3, Rescue 23 with 4, and Utility 23 with one. Two EMS units from company 4 along with one unit from Medic 6 also on scene. On arrival, crews set up to move a very large patient from the ambulance to his home. After successfully getting the patient into his home, crews went available. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class one to 706 Main Street in Lykens for a reported cardiac arrest, AED response. Chief 22 responded to the scene, and Truck 22 responded with 4. Two additional members responded POV to the scene. On the arrival of the Chief, he found the patient to be conscious and breathing. Truck crew on arrival started patient vitals and assessment of the patient until the arrival of Medic 6. They then turned the patient over to EMS, assisted with removal from the house to the ambulance, and then went available. |

| | Utility 22 dispatched class three to 403 South Second Street in Lykens for a report of a broken radiator leaking into a kitchen. Chief 22 responded POV and Utility 22 went enroute with 4. On arrival, crew entered the rear of the structure and found a radiator with a broken valve plug spewing water into the kitchen of the home. Crew shut down the furnace, turned off the water, and shop vac'd the 2 inches of water from the floor while waiting for a repairman to arrive to fix the leak. On his arrival, the crew went available. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class three at the request of PSP to assist at the scene of a non-injury accident in the area of 514 Main Street in Lykens, near the intersection of Main and Pine Streets. Utility 22 responded with 5, Chief 22 and 4 other members responded POV. On arrival, the crew established traffic control, cleaned up debris, and remained on scene until the wrecker took away the two vehicles, and then went available. |

| | While in the office completing the paperwork from the previous call (see call number 1) the station phone rang. The person living at 1001 Main Street was reporting his CO alarm was activating. Engine 22 went enroute in a few moments with 3, followed by the Utility shortly afterward with 3. On arrival side A of a 44 foot by 38 foot single story rancher style home the crew met the homeowner at the front door. Two gas meters were brought in and checked the house with 0 readings reported. Finding no other issues the box was placed available. |
