| | Company-22 was dispatched to assist EMS with the extrication of a cardiac arrest victim from a second floor bedroom window. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, Truck-22 with a crew of five. The Engine staged at Market and North Streets, with the Truck going to side-1. Unable to raise boom due to wires, the crew used a ladder haul system with a stokes basket and ropes to extricate and remove patient from the second floor window to an awaiting ambulance for transport. |

| | Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to 15 South Second Street in Lykens at the Rattling Creek Apartments for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 went enroute POV and Engine 22 with 3 and Rescue 23 with 3. One additional member responded POV to the scene. On arrival Rescue 23 staged on side A and Engine 22 on side D. Command found that a resident had pulled the third floor west stairway hand pull station but there was no fire. The alarm panel and station was reset to clear the alarm. While the crew was there a resident in the lobby experienced a medical event and EMS was requested to the scene. The crew established patient care until the arrival of medic 6. After transferring care to them command placed the box available. |

Command then placed the Company available. |
