Kitchen Fire, 207 East Market Street (Box 27-1)

Companies 27, 26, 28, Northumberland 65, and Truck 22 were dispatched for a report of a kitchen fire at 207 East Market Street in Gratz. Truck 22 responded with a crew of seven, and was canceled while enroute.

Rescue from a Height, 2006 West Center Street (Box S.C.)

Truck 22 dispatched class one to Porter Township, the village of Joliet, 2006 West Center Street for a rescue from a height. An individual had fallen from a roof to another roof. Truck 22 responded with 5, and was canceled by Chief 810 while enroute.

Low wire, Pine and South 2nd St (Box 22-1)

At the request of PSP Company 22 dispatched class three to the intersection of Pine and South Second Streets for a low hanging wire. Chief 22 responded to the scene POV and Utility 22 went enroute with 4 while 4 additional members went to the scene POV. On arrival the crew found a low hanging phone line which was relocated off the street and the box was placed available.

AFA, 137 East Broad St (Box 21-5)

Company 21, Engine 26 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 137 East Broad Street in Elizabethville for an automatic fire alarm at the Lisi Oil Company. Truck 22 responded with 4 and one member POV.On arrival side A of a 1 story 106 foot by 70 foot commercial garage the Truck staged on Broad street and sent manpower forward. Investigation found no cause for the alarm and command placed the box available.

Vehicle Accident - Lower Mahanoy Twp, Northumberland Co, PA

A U.S. Army truck from the field artillery armory in Nanticoke crashed into a concrete bridge abutment a short distance north of Pillow on Wednesday, May 26, 1943. The truck received $1,200 in damage. The bridge received $100 damage.

Vehicle Into a House - Wiconisco, PA

At 2:15 a.m. on May 26, 2007, the driver of a 2003 Dodge pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Oak Street and Plane Street in Wiconisco. The truck passed across Plane Street and struck a house. The driver was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
