| | Company 22, Brush 23 and Schuylkill 650, and Tanker 23 dispatched to a report of a tree on fire at the 2nd Bridge on Glen Road on a 216-8 Box in Jackson Township. Chief 22-2 responded to the scene and placed the brush units in service, and on arrival held the box to Engine 22 non emergency. The call was actually located within Lykens Boro in the 22-2 box. Engine 22 responded with 6, with the three chiefs responding POV to the scene. Conditions found were a tree that had fallen into high tension lines, with the tree sparking and occasionally bursting into flames. After determining that there were no hazards, command released the Engine and Chief 22-2 remained on scene to await the arrival of PP&L at 1:50. |

Schuylkill companies 650, 655, 659, 810 and 66 also responded. Truck 22 responded with 5 and Chief 22 POV, and Tanker 24 responded with 5. Shortly after arriving on scene, Command 650 placed the box in service and all units went available. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class one to assist Medic 6 at the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street in Lykens with lifting. Chiefs 22 and 22-1 responded POV to the scene. Truck 22 went enroute with 6 and Engine 22 with 4. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS with removing the patient from their room and transferring them to the waiting ambulance for a trip to the Station 23 LZ for a flight to the hospital. After completing the task the Company was placed available. |

Accident with entrapment, 300 block Main Street (Box 22-1) |

| | Engine 22 and Rescues 23 and 21 dispatched class one to the 300 block of Main street in Lykens for a crash with possible entrapment. Engine 22 responded with 5, Rescue 23 with 2 and Rescue 21 with 7. On arrival of Engine 22 the crash involved a passenger car that had struck the rear duals of a tractor trailer and then struck a parked car. The sole occupant had been removed from the vehicle by bystanders and was sitting along side a porch in front of the accident scene. The driver of the tractor trailer was unhurt. Patient care was started and crews from 22 and 23 secured the vehicle and provided traffic control on scene. Rescue 21 was placed in service, followed by Rescue 23 a short time later. Medic 6 arrived and took over patient care . PSP also arrived on scene. After West End arrived and removed the vehicle the box was placed in service. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class three to 300 Main street in Lykens at the request of Medic 6 for a medical assist. Utility 22 responded with 3 and arrived and staged on Edward street and the crew assisted EMS with removing their patient from the residence to their transport unit and were then placed available. |
