Liberty Hose Co. No. 2 - Incident Detail #2957

Company 22, Engine and Rescue 23, Rescue 21 and Engine 24 and EMS dispatched class one to 538 Main Street in Lykens for a possible structure fire. Two callers reported seeing smoke coming from the second floor of an apartment building. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and on arrival, confirmed with the occupant that it was a stove fire no out with a heavy smoke condition inside the apartment. Engine 22 responded with 4 and arrived on side A of a two story multi family apartment building 50 foot by 75 foot with nothing evident from the exterior. Command held the box to Engines 22 and 23. Crews went interior and set up positive pressure ventilation. A burnt pan was removed from the stove and taken outside. After ventilating the apartment and checking the other apartment for any smoke and finding none command placed the box available.
