Battle House Fire
Mobile, AL
February 13, 1905
On the morning of February 13, 1905, fire destroyed the Battle House, Mobile, Alabama's, historic hotel. The fire also destroyed the Commercial Hotel and several adjoining buildings, including the Graham Printing Company. There was no loss of life, however the fire chief and a fireman were injured by falling bricks. The loss was about $400,000. |
