Medical Assist, 432 North St (Box 22-11)

Engine 22 was dispatched to assist EMS with removing a patient from an upstairs bedroom. Engine 22 responded, staged on side-1, and sent a crew inside to assist the ambulance crew with packaging and delivering the patient to the transport unit outside.
2000
Accident w/ no inj, 561 Main St (Box 22-1)

Company-22 was dispatched for a tractor trailer accident in the 500-Block of Main Street. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six and Chief-22 responded POV to the scene. The Engine crew arrived on scene to find a tractor trailer that had struck a parked car and came to rest next to the porch of a house. The driver was unhurt. Company-22 personnel assisted with scene safety and hazard control until arrival of PSP. The company went available before the arrival of tow service.
2012
CO Alarm, 421 South Second Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 421 South Second Street in Lykens for a CO Alarm. Engine 22 responded with 2 and Truck 22 with 3. On arrival both pieces took side A and the truck crew went interior with the CO meter to investigate, They found high readings in the basement and removed the furnace pipes and checked the chimney, and then cleaned it. After taking new readings and finding no CO levels, the box was placed available.

Animal Rescue, 53 East Main St Rear (Box 21-1)

At the request of Chief 21-1 Truck 22 dispatched class three to the rear of 53 East Main Street in Elizabethville Boro for an animal rescue. Truck 22 responded with 7 and on arrival was directed to back down an alley between Main and Broad Streets to a tree that a cat was in. The crew positioned the Truck and used the bucket to encourage the cat to descend to the ground, which it eventually did. After the cat was on the ground command placed the box available.
2022
AFA, 15 South Second St (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to 15 South Second Street at the Rattling Creek Apartments in Lykens for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and on arrival noted the building was being evacuated but otherwise found normal conditions inside with alarm bells sounding. Engine 22 responded with 6 and Truck 22 with 3. On arrival at a 4 story concrete and brick apartment building approximately 100 by 75 feet, the Engine took side D and the Truck side A. Engine 23 with 4 staged at the hydrant at the intersection of Main and Arlington streets. Crews went interior and found the apartment affected on the 4th floor. The alarm activated due to culinary indifference, and command placed the box available.
