| | Engine 22 was dispatched to a car fire in the alley next to the former Lykens Standard office. The vehicle belonged to Lamar Nye. A majority of the normal active crew was at Emmitsburg Maryland at the National Fire Academy, and some of the senior active members responded with Engine 22-1 and extinguished the fire, which was confined to the engine compartment. |

| | Engine-22 was dispatched to a home at 636 North Second Street for a tree that had fallen through a second floor bedroom. The engine crew assisted with limb and tree removal from the structure. |

| | Company 27, 26, 28, Rescue 23 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 215 East Market Street in Gratz for a structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 7, and on arrival took the address and set up to go to the roof, while the crew split and laddered the 4 sides of the building. Initial crews had the fire knocked, and the Truck crew provided PPV to the structure. After completing ventilation, The Truck was released by command in order to respond to the call being dispatched in Lykens for a medical assist (see next call). |

| | While the Truck crew was clearing the scene of the previous call in Gratz, a medical assist call was dispatched in Lykens at 801 Market Street. Power was out in the region and the patient at that address was experiencing problems. Lieutenant 22 responded POV, Utility 22 responded with 4, and after clearing the Gratz call Truck 22 went enroute with 7. Rescue 23 was also dispatched to the call. Command 22 placed the Truck in Service, having all ready completed the assist to EMS with transferring the patient to Medic 6's transport unit. |

| | Company 22 dispatched class one to 601 Main Street in Lykens Boro for an automatic fire alarm. Chiefs 22 and 22-2 responded POV to the scene. On arrival at a 4 story 75 ft by 100 ft high rise apartment building they were met by the building manager that advised they were testing the system. Chief 22 placed the box in service. |
