Engine 23 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 207 Wiconisco Street in Wiconisco Township for a smoke alarm sounding. Truck 22 responded with 5 and Chief 23 POV. Wiconisco PD advised Chief 23 that it was a smoke alarm beeping in a front lawn, and he placed the box in service.
Company 22 and Engine 23 were dispatched for a Carbon Monoxide Alarm at 540 South Second Street in Lykens. This property is located next door to the fire station, a structure that has had a CO alarm call in the past. Engine 22 responded with a crew of two, and Engine 23 responded with a crew of three. Lieutenant 22-1 Smeltz had command. A furnace technician on scene called 911 when he found the CO alarm ringing. The crew took CO readings and vented the building.
Company-22 was dispatched to 421 South Second Street in Lykens for a cardiac arrest - AED response. Chief 22-2 responded POV to the scene and Engine-22 responded with a crew of four. Upon arrival, EMS declared a signal-12 (deceased person) and the company went available.
Engine 22 and Squad 23 were dispatched to a report of an accident with unknown injuries in front of the entrance to Shop-N-Play on Main Street. Engine 22 and Squad 23 were canceled by Lykens PD badge 4570 before response. Engine 22 responded to the scene anyway, class 3. Upon arrival, no need for the engine's services was found. Engine 22 went available.
