Medical Assist, 251 North Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 251 North Street in Lykens for a medical assist. EMS had an extended delay. Utility 22 responded with 3 and Truck 22 with 3. On arrival, the crew started patient contact and got an initial set of vital signs which was relayed to Hegins EMS enroute to the scene. The crew continued with patient care until the arrival of 13-Bravo from Hegins and care was transferred to them. The box was then placed available.

Medical Assist, 677 Main Street (Box 22-2)

Truck 22 was dispatched to assist Medic 6 with patient lifting at 677 Main Street. The truck responded with a crew of six, and Chief 22 went to the scene, which was two doors from his residence. Truck 22 arrived and staged in Don's Food Rite parking lot. The crew assisted EMS with removal of patient from the home and placement on board the transporting unit.

Garage Fire, 8834 Route 209 (Box 24-3)

Truck-22 was dispatched, along with Company-24, Engine-23, Tanker-23, Engine-66, and Rescue-66, to 8834 Route-209 for a reported garage fire. The truck responded with a crew of seven and arrived on scene to find Tanker-24 investigating an exterior fire next to a garage, which was now out. A small brush fire extended to the exterior wall of the garage and burned off some steps and siding. The fire was out and overhaul was underway. Truck-22 was placed available.

Porch Fire, 413 Spring Street (Box 23-1)

Company-22 was dispatched to a report of a porch on fire at 413 Spring Street in Wiconisco Township. The Company responded with a crew of four on Engine-22 and one on Tanker-22. The engine arrived at side-A to find Engine-23 at side-A/D with a crew of two. Fire on the front porch of a Cape Cod style house was knocked down by Wiconisco PD using a dry chem extinguisher. Tanker-22 staged at the Post Office. MICU 6-5 with firefighter Matt Shultz was also on the scene. There was no response from other companies. The fire origin was due to spontaneous combustion of rags used in wood finishing that were left on the front porch sealed in a plastic bag. The house was vented and checked for extensions.

Fire alarm sounded Wednesday, May 10, 1911, at 10:20 PM. Fire broke out in a [corubinati?? or confinati??] house at William Auman's South Second Street property. The company responded with both carts and ladder truck. Not much damage was done.
