Company 24, 23 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 9207 Route 209 in Williams Township at the PA National Guard Armory for an automatic fire alarm. Truck 22 responded with 5 and was canceled by Command 24 while enroute, false trip.

Accident with injury, Division and Market Streets (Box 24-3)
Engine 22 dispatched class one as next due Engine on the 24-3 box for a moped accident with injury and Division and Market Streets in Williams Township. Command 24 held the box to Company 24 and the Engine was canceled almost immediately after dispatch.
2016
Non injury accident, Pine and Main Streets (Box 22-1)
At the request of Lykens PD, Company 22 dispatched class three to the intersection of Pine and Main Streets to assist with traffic control at a non injury accident involving two vehicles blocking the roadway. Utility 22 responded with 5 and 3 additional members responded to the scene along with Chief 22 POV. On arrival, crew blocked traffic at Main and Market and Main and West Streets until the towing company cleared the vehicles from the scene, and then went available.
Company 21 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 3903 Route 209 in Elizabethville Boro at Klinger Lumber Company for an automatic fire alarm. As the Truck was about to respond with 7, Command placed the box in service, false activation.
2010
Furnace Malfunction, 132 East Spruce Street (Box 24-1)
Company 24, 23, 66, Rescue 21 and Truck 22 dispatched on the 24-1 box for a report of black smoke coming from the chimney at 132 East Spruce Street in Williamstown. Truck 22 responded with 6, and was canceled by command 24 while enroute.
A first alarm assignment was dispatched to the Daghir residence at 300 North Second Street for a reported dryer fire. Due on the box were Engines 22, Engine 23, Squad 23, Truck 22, and EMS. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, and Truck 22 responded with a crew of five. Upon arrival, they found a smoldering dryer in the laundry room on the first floor, near the rear of the structure. Crews disconnected the dryer, carried it out into the back yard, forced open the door, and put out the smoldering clothes with a PW extinguisher. The truck crew set up PPV on the first floor to clear out light smoke. Company 23 was placed in service. Crews sifted through and extinguished hot spots in the clothing until released.
Fire destroyed almost the entire plant of the Lykens Paper Mill on South Street Monday night. (the morning of June 7, 1904) Reports differ as to where the fire stared and when it was first discovered, but it was 12:30 before it was noticed by persons residing in the neighborhood, and at that time the flames had already burst through the roof above the beaters, just east of the engine room. Owing to the fact that the borough's fire alarm was out of fix and could not be used to sound the alarm, it was some time before our citizens were aroused from their slumbers by those who first noticed the fire, and many knew nothing of it until the morning. The service carriage of Liberty Hose Company arrived on the scene about 1 o'clock, but by that time the entire building east of the boiler room was in flames and in a short time was consumed. Nothing remained of the plant except the boiler room, which was separated from the engine room by a brick fire wall, and a storage house located a short distance north of the mill. The valuable machinery was warped and twisted and only fit for scrap. Fisher and Jones started to erect the mill in May, 1901, and in February of the following year made the first paper. They had been singularly unfortunate in their venture from the start, being compelled to make expensive improvements right along, and sustaining a heavy loss by fire scarcely four months prior to this fire.
