Medical Assist, 715 South 2nd Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 715 South Second street in Lykens to assist EMS from 24 on getting a patient out of their residence. Utility 22 responded with 4 and one member went to the scene POV. On arrival EMS and the police department had the patient out and loaded so the Utility went available and followed the ambulance over to station 23 to the landing zone to assist.
2021
Coroner Assist, 619 North Street (Box 22-1)

At the request of the coroner on scene, Company 22 dispatched class three to assist them with an extrication and recovery. Chief 22-2 and 22 went POV to the scene along with another member and Truck 22 responded with 3. On arrival, the members used a ladder and a stokes to assist the coroner. After completing the task the box was cleared.

Accident with entrapment, 6364 Route 209 (Box 23-3)

Engine 22 dispatched class one as next due Engine on the 23-3 box at 6364 Route 209 in Wiconisco Township for a reported accident with entrapment. Command 23 canceled the Engine prior to response.
2015
Medical Assist, 562 North Second Street (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
At the request of Medic 6 on scene, Company 22 dispatched class three to 562 North Second Street in Lykens to assist EMS with lifting. All three Chiefs responded POV to the scene, and Truck 22 responded with 7. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS with transferring the patient from the home to their transport unit for a trip to a hospital. Command then placed the company available.

Medical Assist for lifting, 801 Market Street (Box 22-2)

At the request of EMS, company 22 dispatched to 801 Market Street in Lykens for help lifting a very large patient. Truck 22 responded with 4, and on arrival determined that additional assistance would be needed. Rescue 23 was requested for air bags and cribbing. Rescue 23 responded with 2. Crews assisted with moving the large patient from the kitchen floor where he had fallen to his living room chair, and then went available.

Accident w/inj, 414 Main St (Box 22-1)

Structure Fire, 634 N 2nd St (Box 22-11)

A first alarm assignment was dispatched for a structure fire at 634 North Second Street. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, Truck-22 responded with a crew of four, and Engine and Squad 23 also responded. Engine-22 connected to the hydrant at the corner of Market and North Second Streets and laid a 5-inch hose line to side-1 of the structure. Truck-22 approached from the Spruce Street side. Lieutenant-22, on the scene, advised of a room and contents fire on the second floor of side-4. Crews pulled a handline and extinguished the fire, holding it to the room of origin. Crews performed overhaul, finding only damage to the window frame and wall of the bedroom. After confirming no further extension, companies were placed available by command.
