| | For the second time at this location in the last week, Companies 21, 22, 23, 26 and 27 were dispatched to the UDA Middle School for a reported structure fire. Chief 21 held all units in quarters until confirming a false call. The same person that had made the previous false alarm had placed this call from the phone booth on the square in Elizabethville. The individual was caught at the phone booth and prosecuted. |

| | Engine 22 was dispatched to a report of a porch roof collapse at 413 Market Street. A heavy snow had come down during the day, and a small porch roof at this location fell down under the weight of the snow. Engine 22 responded, and upon arrival determined that there were no injuries or further risk. The engine then went available. |

| | As a result of a warming trend in the area following a large snowstorm several days earlier, the Borough experienced numerous incidents of basement flooding. The company was dispatched to a number of flooded basements, and crews spent the majority of the day pumping water from cellars. |

| | The structure box dispatched on the 22-1 box for 307 Race Street in Lykens for a report of electric baseboard heater on fire. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Truck 22 with 4 and Chiefs 22 and 22-2 POV. While enroute to the scene, County advised of a mistaken dispatch and the call was actually in Williams Township, placing this box in service (see call number 6). |

| | With Truck and Engine 22 all ready on the street, having been dispatched to 307 Race Street in Lykens (see call number 5), County advised of a corrected address of 307 Ray Street in Williams Township. Both rigs continued on to the new location, along with Chiefs 22 and 22-2 POV. The Truck accessed the address from Broad Street and had side A behind Engine 24, while Engine 22 accessed the address off of Market Street and laid in to the A/D corner. Company 22 and 24 members found some dirt that had been sparking in the electric baseboard on the first floor and extinguished it. After venting the building, Command 24 placed the box available. |
