Automatic Alarm, 550 Main St (Box 22-1)

Companies 22 and 23 were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Miner's Bank of Lykens on Main Street. Engine 22 responded with a crew of four, and Chief 22 responded to the scene. Upon the Chief's arrival and confirmation of a false trip, the box was placed in service.
2003
Accident w/no inj, 4400 Bl P V Rd (Box 19-4)

Engine 22 and Engine 19 were dispatched for an accident with unknown injuries on the road over the Lykens mountain to Carsonville. Engine 22 was canceled enroute by Engine 19 on scene. A single vehicle had rolled over. The driver extricated herself and was un-injured. Company personnel later learned that driver was a company member enroute to her job in Harrisburg.

Medical Assist, 315 1/2 Market Street (Box 22-1)

At the request of EMS, Captain 22 on scene had Company 22 dispatched class three to 315 1/2 Market Street in Lykens for a lift assist. Truck 22 responded with 5, and on arrival staged on Market Street and sent their manpower in to assist EMS with packaging and moving the patient to the Medic 6 transport unit. After transferring the patient, the crew went available.

Medical Assist, 801 Market Street (Box 22-2)

Company 22 dispatched class three to 801 Market Street to assist with lifting an obese patient that had fallen. Rescue 23 was added to the call. Engine 22 responded with 3, Rescue 23 with 3, and Chief 22-2 POV to the scene. On arrival, crews assisted in getting the patient up off the floor, and then went available.
2020
Controlled burn, 262 Spain Road (Box 27-6)
Detail >>
Engine 22 and Tanker 27 dispatched class three to 262 Spain Road in Lykens Township for a controlled burn. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Tanker 27 with 1. On arrival the crews extinguished a large debris pile and then went available.
