Structure Fire, 226 E Wiconisco Ave (Box S.C.)
Detail >>
Truck-22 was dispatched to Tower City Borough, Schuylkill County, for a reported structure fire. The truck responded in under one minute, but was canceled while enroute by command.
2012
Automatic Fire Alarm, 300 Chestnut Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to 300 Chestnut Street in Lykens to the Alfa Laval Thermal Plant for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 responded POV and on his arrival, found normal conditions with the plant evacuated. Investigation determined that it was a false trip, and Command placed the box in service prior to any apparatus responding.

Medical Assist, 198 South Street (Box 24-3)

Company 22 requested by 24 EMS to assist at the scene of a medical call for a dog bite victim at 198 South Street in Williamstown. Truck 22 responded with 7, and was canceled and redirected to the site of the landing zone for this call at station 23 in Wiconisco.
2017
Set up an LZ, 387 Arch Street (Box 23-1)

Truck 22 was cleared from the previous call and redirected to the landing zone pad at Station 23 to assist with an incoming Life Lion helicopter. Truck 22 was all ready enroute with 7 and on arrival, assisted Engine 23 and 24 EMS with transferring a patient to the Life Lion helicopter for air transport to Hershey Medical Center. Chief 22 assumed the LZ officer position. After the transfer was completed the Truck was placed available.
2020
Chimney Fire, 149 West Grand Avenue (Box S.C.)

Truck 22 dispatched class one on the Sheridan box in Porter Township Schuylkill County to 149 West Grand Avenue for a chimney fire. Truck 22 responded with 7 and Utility 22 with 4. On arrival side A of a two and one half story wood frame duplex dwelling 25 foot by 40 foot they took Side A and the crew laddered the building. Utility 22 came in to the alley on Side C and sent manpower forward to the Truck. Crews assisted on scene with investigation until released by Sheridan command.
2022
skid loader fire inside bldg, 4757 Route 209 (Box 21-5)

Company 21, 26 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 4757 Route 209 in Washington Township for a skid loader on fire inside a building. Truck 22 responded with 5 and 3 additional members went to the scene POV. As they were approaching command 21 gave the Truck the assignment of entering on side D and prepare to set up to go to the roof. On arrival at a 50 foot by 250 foot steel and block storage barn. Company 21 personnel had a line inside and had extinguished all visible fire from the skid loader. The Truck crew were then redirected to setting up a ventilation fan on the A side of the building. After venting the building the Truck was released by Command 21.
