Truck 22 dispatched to the Boro of Tower City in Schuylkill County, 23 East Grand Avenue, to assist on a working garage fire. Units all ready dispatched were Tower City, Sheridan, Orwin, and Muir. Truck 22 responded with 6, and on arrival was advised by command to stage on Hand Street and send manpower to the scene. Initial knockdown had all ready been achieved, and the crew assisted in overhaul and checking for hot spots and pulling ceilings. Crew continued with these activities until released by command.

Medical Assist, 418 North Second Street (Box 22-1)
At the request of Medic 6 on scene, Company 22 dispatched class one to 418 North Second Street in Lykens to assist EMS. Chief 22 responded to the scene POV and Truck 22 went enroute with 7. On the arrival of the Chief, EMS requested Life Lion. On arrival, the Truck crew assisted EMS with transferring the patient to their ambulance, with 3 crew members on board their unit enroute to the LZ at Station 23. The Truck then proceeded to the LZ to assist (see call #52).
Truck 22, having just cleared the previous call in Lykens (see call #51), proceeded to Station 23 in Wiconisco to assist Engine 23 with setting up an LZ for an incoming Life Lion Helicopter. After retrieving the crew on board Medic 6 and lift off of Life Lion, Command 23 placed the box in service.
