| | Truck 22 was dispatched to Williamstown Borough for a laundromat fire, along with Companies 24, 23, and 66. Truck 22 responded with a crew of five, and was advised that the building was a three story apartment building, with smoke in the area of the first floor laundry room. Truck 22 arrived on scene and set up on the side-C/D corner. The crew assisted Company 24 with search of the interior, and found what appeared to be a furnace malfunction. Truck 22 was released by command and went available. |

Structure Fire, 702 N 2nd St (Box 22-1) |

| | A first alarm assignment was dispatched for a structure fire at the corner of Spruce and North Second Streets. Chief 22-1 arrived on scene POV and reported a working structure fire. Engine 22 responded with a crew of five, but went to the 700-Block of North Second Street on the opposite side of the old railroad bank, delaying their arrival. Engine 23 arrived on the scene, taking side-4, to find heavy smoke pushing from all floors. Truck 22 arrived on scene directly behind Engine 23. Engine 22 entered North Second Street from Market Street, laying a 5-inch supply hose into the scene. Engine 24 arrived on scene and staged on Spruce Street near North Street. Tower City Air Light was dispatched and staged behind Engine 24. Crews attacked the fire from side-1 and side-3, going interior. Crews met at the top of the interior cellar stair steps and advanced down to the basement to extinguish the fire. The basement and first floor received heavy damage and smoke damage occurred to the second floor. The fire was caused by clothing laying against the furnace. The clothing ignited and spread fire throughout the basement. |

| | Company-22 was dispatched to assist the police department and EMS with a cardiac arrest at 425 Main Street. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, four firefighters arrived by POV, and Chief-22 and Chief 22-1 responded POV. The crew arrived on scene to find police and EMS already providing CPR. The crew assisted with removing the patient from the home and packaging in transport unit for a trip to the hospital. |

| | Company 22 and 23 dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at the Alfa Laval Thermal Company at 300 Chestnut Street in Lykens. Engine and Truck 22 responded each with 6 and Engine 23 responded with Chief 22 responding POV. On arrival, the Chief was advised by plant personal that they were remodeling in the building and accidentally cut through some wiring, causing a false trip. Command placed the box in service. |

Smoke Investigation, 10330 Rt 209 (Box 24-12) |

| | At the request of Chief 24 Company 22 dispatched class three to assist them with an outside fire located behind the old drive in movie theater on old route 209 in Williams Township. The original dispatch placed the call somewhere behind the Williams Valley High School but was corrected when Company 24 went searching for and eventually locating the actual location of the incident. Engine 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 3. On arrival the crew found Engine and Tanker 24 on the scene of a large dump fire that someone had lit off on a coal bank with numerous tires, mattresses, furniture, and paper products lit off. Schuylkill Engine 22-15 was also requested to respond and they were later on scene. Using a local backhoe operator and his equipment the pile was spread around and two hand lines were placed in service to wet down the burning debris. This continued until all hot spots were put out. Command then placed the Company in service. |

| | Engine 23 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to the Minnich Terrace Apartments on Pottsville Street for a CO Alarm. Engine 23 responded with 5 and Chief 23 POV to the scene. Command canceled the Truck before response. |

Structure Fire, 312 Chestnut Ridge Rd (Box N.C.) |

| | Truck 22, Companies 21, 27, 28 and Air 23 along with numerous companies from Northumberland and Schuylkill Counties dispatched class one to 312 Chestnut Ridge Road in Upper Mahoney Township Northumberland County at the Wehry Farm maintenance building for a structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 6 and on arrival was asked to stage the rig and send their manpower forward to assist with fire suppression activities on a metal maintenance building approximately 100 by 150 foot that was fully involved. The 22 crew worked the C side of the structure using a hose line and hand tools until released by Command 65. |

| | At the request of Medic 6-2 on scene Company 22 dispatched class three to 732 North Second Street in Lykens for a lift assist. Utility 22 responded with 5 and 4 additional members went POV to the scene. On arrival the crew assisted EMS with lifting the patient and then went available. |
