Public Service Call, 33 East Main Street (Box 21-1)

At the request of Engine 21 Truck 22 dispatched class three to the area to the rear of 33 East Main street in Elizabethville for a public service call. Truck 22 responded with 6 and on arrival assisted Engine 21 with a retrieval. After successfully completing the task the Truck was placed available.

Structure Fire, 122 North Yohe Street (Box S.C.)
Detail >>
Truck 22 and Tanker 24 from Dauphin County dispatched class one to 122 North Yohe Street in Porter Township, the village of Muir, for a structure, fire. Tanker 24 went enroute with 5 and Truck 22 with 6. Shortly after response both rigs were placed avalable by Command 22-11

Stove fire, 751 West Middle Road (Box 27-4)

Truck 22 dispatched class one on the 27-4 box for a reported stove fire at 751 West Middle Road in Lykens Township. Truck 22 responded with 7 and Utility 22 with 4. Chief 27-2 on scene held the box to Company 27 as the fire was now out. Truck was placed available.

Tree Down, Powells Valley Road (Box 216-8)

Company 22 dispatched class three to Powells Valley Road by the last bridge on the 216-8 box for a tree across the road. Chief 22 responded POV, Engine 22 with 4, and Utility 22 with 3. On arrival, the crew removed the tree from the roadway and then went available.
2013
Accident with injuries, 751 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and Rescue 23 dispatched class one to 751 Main Street in Lykens for an accident with injuries. Engine 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 2. On arrival, Chief 22-1 assumed command, and after determining that there were no injuries or need for our services, placed the box in service.

Vehicle Accident, 400 Block of Main Street (Box 22-1)

Engine 22 and Engine 23 were dispatched to a reported accident with injuries in the 400 block of Main Street, in front of the Hoover residence. Chief 22-1 responded, and upon arrival at the scene, placed Engine 23 in service and requested that Engine 22 respond non-emergency. He also advised EMS that there were no injuries. Engine 22 responded class 3 with a crew of five, and found one vehicle broadside in the middle of the street, with each of the two occupants out of the car and uninjured. The crew controlled scene hazards, disconnected the car's battery, and awaited the arrival of a wrecker. EMS and PD were also on the scene. After the car was towed away, the crew cleaned up the scene and went available.

Car Fire, Laundromat (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
Engine-22 was dispatched to 31 Main Street, a reported car fire in the parking lot in front of the Laundromat. Engine-22 responded with a crew of seven and found a car with the engine compartment on fire. One line was pulled and the fire was extinguished. The crew remained on the scene until the car was towed, then the company went available.
