AFA, 210 North Second Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 and Engine 23 dispatched class one to 210 North Second Street in Lykens Boro for a commercial automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 called dispatch on the radio to confirm the address and it was found to be located in the City of Harrisburg. This had happened before. County placed the box in service.
2016
Medical Assist, 414 South 2nd Street (Box 22-1)

After clearing the previous call (see call 47) Engine 22 and Chief 22 responded class three to 414 South Second Street in Lykens to assist Tower City EMS with a fall victim. On arrival, the EMS could not find a patient, and the crew helped search the surrounding area for one. Chief 22 was advised that the patient was now located at 702 North Second Street in Lykens and they responded there. On arrival, EMS placed the company in service.

Structure Fire, 460 Greenfield Street (Box 24-1)

Truck 22 dispatched class one to 460 Greenfield Street in Williamstown to assist companies 24, 23 and 647 with a report of a house struck by lightning. Truck 22 responded with 7 and Utility 22 with 2. Upon arrival the truck crew laddered the exterior while company 24 personnel investigated. Command later placed the Truck available.

Smoke from a Garage, 621 West Market Street (Box 24-3)

Truck 22 dispatched class one to 621 West Market Street in Williamstown to assist companies 24, 23, and 647 on a report of smoke coming from a garage. Truck 22 responded with 7 and Utility 22 with 3. Command 24 on scene confirmed that the source of the smoke was coming from a burn barrel and command placed the box in service.
2012
Tree on wires, Glen Road at 2nd bridge (Box 22-2)

After a brief power outage, Captain 22 discovered a tree that had landed on power lines on the Glen Road by the second bridge in nearly the same location that a similar incident had occurred only weeks before. Captain 22 requested the Utility to respond to the scene class three and it responded with 3. Lieutenant 22 joined the Cap on scene POV, and Engine 22 responded class three with 2 but was placed in service by command. Crew waited until PPL arrived to restore power and then went available.

Porch Fire, 747 Pottsville Street (Box 23-1)

Companies 23 and 22 dispatched class one to 747 Pottsville Street in Wiconisco for a report of a gas grill on fire and possibly spreading to a side porch. Company 22 responded in under a minute, Truck 22 with 7, Engine 22 with 4, and Utility 22 with 5. Truck 22 arrived on side A and took the address, followed by Engines 23 and 22 on side D and Utility 22 behind them. The grill had been extinguished by the home owner. Captain 23 had command and placed the box in service.

Outside Fire, 6690 Route 209 (Box 23-3)

Tanker 22 was dispatched in place of Tanker 23, while Engine 23 and Rescue 21 were on a reported outside fire at Meadowbrook Coal Company in Wiconisco Township. Chief 23-2 arrived on scene with Engine 23 and held the box to Engine 23. He reported that the incident was a controlled burn. Tanker 22 was canceled before response.

Stove Fire, 414 South Second St (Box 22-1)

Accident w/inj, 675 Main St(Rear) (Box 22-19)

Engine 22 was dispatched for a reported accident in the alley behind 675 Main Street. This event occurred just as the company's 1992 block party was getting underway for the evening. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, and upon arrival found no accident or anyone around the scene. Chief 22 placed the box available. As the Engine backed out of the alley to return to quarters, it bumped into a telephone pole on Spruce Street and broke the ladder brackets from the officers side of the rig, which were later repaired.
