A vehicle passing the property struck low hanging lines and pulled them down, also causing the water line in the basement to break and flood it. Utility 22 responded with 3, and on arrival, set up a portable pump in the basement to pump out about 5 inches of water from the basement. The Boro water authority was on scene and shut down the water line. Lykens PD also on scene. After pumping out the basement, the Utility went available. |

| | Company 22 was dispatched to the scene of a car into a structure at 248 North Second Street. Chief's 22 and 22-1 responded to the scene POV. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, and Truck 22 responded with a crew of five. After arriving on location, Chief 22-1 requested apparatus to respond class three. On arrival, crews stabilized the vehicle and later removed it from the structure by driving it back out. Neither the driver of the car nor the occupants of the home were injured. After securing the structure, the company went available. |

Other companies dispatched were Companies 21, 20, 26, 216, and 23. This was the second structure fire call in Washington Township within a few hours, and most units had just cleared from the previous incident on Route 225. The truck was directed to level one staging and sent manpower to the front of the structure. |

Truck 22 responded with a crew of five and was advised that Captain 26 was on the scene reporting a working fire in the basement with extension to a garage. Truck 22 set up for roof ventilation. The crew opened the roof and assisted at scene with suppression activities until released by command. |
