Medical Assist, 15 South Second Street (Box 22-1)

At the request of Chief 24A Company 22 dispatched class one to the Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street in Lykens for a medical assist to EMS from 24. Truck 22 responded with 7 and on arrival side A of a 4 story apartment building the proceeded to the patients apartment and took initial vital signs and established patient care until the arrival of EMS from 24. After assisting with transferring the patient to their unit the Company went available.

Medical Assist, 333 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 333 Main Street in Lykens to assist Medic 6-1 with extricating a patient from the residence. Chief 22-2 and 4 other members responded POV to the scene and Truck 22 went enroute with 4. On arrival the crew assisted Medic 6-1 with moving the patient from the second floor to their transport unit and then went available.

AFA, 602 Laurel Lane (Box 22-2)

Company 22 dispatched class one to 602 Laurel Lane in Lykens for an automatic fire alarm. Chief 22 responded POV to the scene and on arrival at a 1 story ranch style single family dwelling he was met by two company 22 firefighters that were reporting a false trip. Command 22 placed the box in service.

At the request of Medic 6 Company 22 dispatched class one to Rattling Creek Apartments at 15 South Second Street in Lykens for a lift assist. One member responded from across the street and Chief 22 responded POV. Truck 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 3. On arrival the crew went to the patients apartment and assisted EMS with moving the patient to their litter and then down to their transport unit. Command then placed the Company available.

Pump Detail, 417 West Street (Box 22-1)

The owner of 417 West Street in Lykens came to Station 22 and requested that his basement be pumped out. Utility 22 went enroute with 4 and Chief 22 POV. On arrival the crew pumped out the basement and then went available.

Pump Detail, 209 North Street (Box 22-1)

The Company received a phone call to the station from the owner of 209 North Street in Lykens requesting that his basement be pumped out. Utility 22 responded with 3 and Chief 22 and Lieutenant 22 POV. On arrival the crew set up a portable pump and removed water from the property basement and then went available.

Pump Detail, 451 Main Street (Box 22-1)

Crew members remaining on station while the truck and utility were returning from a structure fire in Gratz were alerted to a basement pump detail at 451 Main Street in Lykens. Two members using a POV took a portable pump to the location and pumped out the owners basement and then went available.

Structure Fire, 119 W South 2nd Street (Box 27-1)

Having just cleared a pump detail, the 27-1 box was alerted for a reported structure fire at 119 West South Second Street in Gratz. Truck 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 3. On arrival, Truck 22 took side A of a 1 story ranch style single family dwelling with fire on the first floor A/B corner near the electrical panel. The crew laddered the building and sent a crew to the roof in preparation for a vent that they did not need to perform. Crew assisted with suppression activities until released by command 27.

After clearing the previous basement pumping, the Utility and Chief moved on to the next basement flooding at 564 North Second Street in Lykens. They pumped out this basement and as they were going available got another call.

After pumping out the previous basment call, the Utility crew and Chief were alerted to another basement pump detail at 400 Pine Street in Lykens. On arrival at that location, the crew used a portable pump to remove water from the basement and then went available.

Company 22 dispatched class three to 640 North Street in Lykens to pump out a flooded basement. Utility 22 responded with 4 and Chief 22 POV. On arrival, the crew used a portable pump to remove water from the owners basement and then went available.

Company 22 fire police dispatched class three to assist with traffic control at the intersection of Clarks Valley Road and Mountain Road in Middle Paxton Township. Command 38 canceled the request at 4:45 AM and the Company was released.

Flooding, 403 South 2nd St (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched class three to 403 South Second Street in Lykens for a flooded basement. Utility 22 responded with 4 and Chief 22 POV. On arrival, the crew set up pumps and pumped out the basement and then went available.
2017
Tree down, Main and Lehr Streets (Box 22-1)
Detail >>
Company 22 dispatched class three to the intersection of Main Street and Lehr Street for a tree down blocking the roadway. Chief 22 responded POV, Engine 22 went enroute with 5 and Utility 22 with 2. On arrival, the crew used a chainsaw to cut up a large tree that had fallen and blocked the west bound lane of Main Street. After removal, command placed the 22 units available.
