Structure Fire, 306 East Colliery Ave (Box S.C.)

Dauphin County Truck 22 and Rescue and Air 23 dispatched class one to 306 East Colliery Avenue in Tower City Schuylkill County for a working structure fire. Truck 22 responded with 7 and assessed the scene from Grand Avenue to Hand street to Colliery Avenue and took the A/D corner of a 2 and one half story wood frame single family dwelling with fire initially reported going up the C side of the structure. On arrival the bulk of the fire was knocked down on the C side of the structure. Crew threw ladders and assisted with overhaul until released by command 66.

At the request of PSP, Company 22 alerted for an officer to call communications. Chief 22 responded POV and handled the assist call.

Smoke in a Basement, 411 South Spruce Street (Box 27-1)
Detail >>
Truck 22 dispatched class one on the 27-1 box to 411 South Spruce Street in Gratz for smoke in a basement. Truck 22 responded with 5 and Utility 22 with 3. While enroute, command re-directed the Truck and Utility to standby at Station 27. The crews stood by at Station 27 until released by command.

Medical Assist, 604 Park View Lane (Box 22-2)

At the request of Medic 6, Company 22 dispatched class three to 604 Park View Lane in Lykens for a medical assist. Engine 22 responded with 5 and Chief 22 responded POV. On arrival, the crew assisted EMS with packaging and transfer of patient to their transport unit and then went available.

Brush Fire, Market & Pottsville (Box 23-4)

Tanker-22 was dispatched for a possible brush fire. Chief-23 on location determined that the call was false, and placed the box in service.
1995
Tree Down, Glen Rd-Reservior (Box 216-89)
Detail >>
After Company 22 cleared numerous trees that fell down two days earlier, more trees came down as a result of the snow storm several days earlier. A crew responded POV to this scene and used chain saws to clear the tree from the road.

Accident w/inj, Main & Division Sts (Box 22-19)

Engine 22 and Squad 23 were dispatched to a reported accident with injuries at the intersection of Main and Division Streets. Both units responded and found two vehicles partially blocking the roadway, with the driver of one car still in the vehicle. Crews assisted EMS with boarding, immobilizing, and removing the patient from her car and placing her in an ambulance. The crew directed traffic and cleaned up the scene, until released by command.
