Company 23, Truck 22, and Rescue 21 were dispatched to 606 Mountain Street in Wiconisco for a reported chimney fire. Engine 23 responded with a crew of four, and Truck 22 responded with a crew of four. Rescue 21 was placed in service while enroute. Crews arrived on scene to find a one story residence with a wood burner, with no extension beyond the firebox. Command placed Truck 22 in service, and 23's crew cleaned out the firebox and chimney.
Utility 22 requested by command 24 class three to block traffic at the Lykens Boro line on Route 209. Company 24 was working a traffic accident with power lines and poles down that had the roadway completely blocked. Utility 22 responded with 3 and Chief 22 POV. They arrived at the intersection of Main and Lehr Streets and diverted traffic on to Machamer Avenue until released by Command 24.
