Gas Grill Fire, 648 South St (Box 22-11)

Engines 22 and 23 and Squad 23 were dispatched to 648 South Street at the Mahoney residence for a report of a gas grill on fire. Engine-22 responded with a crew of six, and arrived on scene to find a gas grill on the front porch of the residence, smoldering. The grill was partially melted and the fire was out. The crew removed the grill from the porch and checked for any possible extensions. Finding none, the company went available.

Accident w/injuries, Main & Pine Sts (Box 22-1)

Engine-22 was dispatched for an accident with possible injuries at the intersection of Main and Pine Streets. The engine arrived on scene and found a non-reportable accident in front of the G & E Bar. Personnel assisted with gathering patient information and treatment until arrival of EMS.

Medical Assist, Rear of 329 Market Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 was dispatched to assist EMS with lifting for a large patient. Engine 22 responded with a crew of six, Truck 22 responded with a crew of three, and Chief 22 responded POV. Engine 22 staged in the alley behind the old dairy building, and the truck staged on North Second Street. Personnel gathered at the North First Street entrance to the dairy, while EMS assessed patient. The patient ultimately refused treatment and the company was placed available.
2010
Medical Assist, 517 South Street (Box 22-1)

Company 22 dispatched to the Family Medical Practice Center at 517 South Street in Lykens for a fall victim. Lieutenant 22-1 on scene reported a large obese patient had fallen in the parking lot of the facility, was unhurt, and just needed help getting up. Truck 22 responded class 3 to the scene with 4, and on arrival, assisted the patient in getting back on his feet and to an awaiting County transport van. The Truck followed the patient back to his residence at 801 Market Street in Lykens to make sure he was able to get back into his home without any problems.
2017
Medical Assist, 225 East Wiconisco Street (Box S.C.)

Company 22 dispatched class three to assist Tower City EMS with moving a large patient out of a residence. Truck 22 responded with 6 and Utility 22 with 3. On arrival, the crew was met by members of Tower City and Sheridan fire companies and EMS from Tower City and Williamstown. The crew took the stryker tarp into the residence and assisted with moving the patient from the residence to the EMS transport unit. After the transfer was complete the company went available.

AFA, 80 North Market St (Box 21-1)

Company 21 and Truck 22 dispatched class one to 80 North Market Street in Elizabethville Boro at the Elizabethville Library for an automatic fire alarm. Truck 22 went enroute with 7 and was canceled by command 21 shortly after pulling out of station 22.

Michael E. Stroup, Deputy State Attorney-General and former District Attorney of Dauphin County, suffered a fractured left shoulder on the night of Monday, August 6, 1928, when the automobile in which he was riding to his home in Elizabethville struck a gully in the road and overturned. Fritz Bohner, who was driving the car, suffered a sprained back. Stroup and Bohner were taken to the Keystone Hospital at Harrisburg.
